The ceremony was held at Peppers Creek Chapel and the reception was held at Tamburlaine Members Lodge, both in Pokolbin.

The Wedding dress
Fitted vintage lace dress with a low back.
Bridesmaids’ dresses
Bridesmaids wore different style floor-length dresses in romantic pastel tones of peach, pink and champagne.
Invitations
Invitations were recycled paper with a floral outer shell and vintage lace detail.
Flowers
Bouquet of stunning soft pink Peonies and peach David Austin’s with dusty miller tied with ribbon and lace. My amazing florist was able to have the Peonies imported especially for my big day.
Ceremony
Our ceremony was very simple and sweet. Favourite part of our ceremony was writing our own vows and sharing special moments of our relationship with our family and friends.
Reception
We celebrated the night with a cocktail reception with a three-piece band. Memorable moment was cutting the cake with fireworks and guests were able to leave us a message in our guest book with a fun Polaroid photo.
Decorations
Decorations were kept simple, tables featured vintage vases and mason jars filled with gorgeous flowers, layered by rose petals and candles.

We had a dessert table filled with lemon meringue tarts, rocky road cups, cupcakes, cookies and cake pops. Our wedding cake was a vanilla and chocolate pink lace two-tiered cake with a sugar peony.

Once upon a time, I used to assist an über talented interior stylist called Jason Grant on photo shoots. It was (and still is) his job to create beautiful rooms out of thin air, turning an empty studio into a chic living room/study/bedroom. And one of the biggest lessons I picked up was that it all came down to the finer details. LIFE IMITATES ART: MONET-INSPIRED BRIDESMAIDS

Monet has always been one of my favourite artists. In fact when I was in Year Three, I tried to paint myself into one of his artworks. And before you start thinking I’m crazy, it was for a school project where we were asked to do a self portrait. Sadly, my teacher didn’t think it was very creative to copy“reproduce” a masterpiece and then just add myself to it… so I added a few blotchy ducks and patted myself on the back.

“Styled by She Designs Events & Jardine Botanic, the enchanted hollywood theme flowed through the ceiling with lush branches & floral decorations hanging amongst Egyptian antique lights & chandelier; the tables were covered in tea lights, flowers, mercury glass votives & candles; table numbers were the names of old Hollywood actors, the bride & groom sat on large butterfly cane chairs and behind them the mantle was draped in greenery, vines & had large candles, there were also more cane chairs & coloured antiqued lounges in the courtyard with more tea candles, flowers & fairy lights.”
