Time to confess: I’m already over winter. Sure there’s perks like comfort food and ugg boots, but Ireally hate being cold. And that’s something you can’t escape this time of year. That’s why the chilly season has me bored to tears and I’m already dreaming of beach weather and flowers… Recently to get my beauty fix (and to convince myself September is just around the corner), I’ve been obsessing over how to work fresh flora into my party ‘do come spring. And I couldn’t help but notice how perfect these looks would be for a bridesmaid or bride. “2 shades of grey, so 3 in a lighter colour silver & 2 in dark charcoal. All different styles as all different bodyshapes. 2 had strapless style, 2 had 1 shoulder style, 1 had sheer covering over shoulders. The bridesmaids chose their gown my only pre –requisite were that they were long. All girls wore matching pearls.”

“All handmade by me, a lot of laser cut paper discs were sewn together to make beautiful garlands. The centerpieces featured an amazing mix of the same flowers from our bouquets. The fragrance in the room was amazing! Our table numbers were us at the respective ages. Cute feedback!”

After wasting hours trying to find the right gowns for my, I was inspired to open Bridesmaids Only. I felt brides and their friends need a relaxing place where they could have fun and dress shopping wouldn’t be a chore. Because let’s be honest, when you have a thousand things to plan, the pressure can suck out all the fun! Plus, if you’re frazzled when you’re trying to lock down your maids’ outfits, it’s easy to overlook some of the finer details.

“The Royal Motor Yacht Club is such a stunning venue that it really didn’t need too many decorations. In keeping to my theme of simple elegance, I opted for a one square vase, two small individual glass vases and four tea lights candles on each table. The vases were full of David Austin pale pink roses, white field roses, iceberg roses, white freesias and pieris which complemented our bouquets nicely.”
