Peta and Hamish’s Country Chic Wedding
There comes a time when a little country is all we need – the same can be said for a special occasion. Peta and Hamish, who celebrated their wedding day in the heart of the Hunter Valley, added a little splash of navy, yellow and white to their chic, romantic vision. Did we mention a little help from friends could make a wedding even more magical? Allow us to give some of the credit to high school friend Brooke!
“Without Brooke, there’s no way we would have been able to pull together all the elements that made our day so memorable,” Peta said. “Don’t think twice about the cost of a planner or stylist. Find someone that shares your vision and who will make the entire process seamless.”

“It was the second dress I purchased. The original dress was more formal than I wanted and didn’t fit with the styling elements we’d decided on,” she explained. “I fell in love with my dress and was in and out the store within 20 minutes, with hardly any alterations required”.
From the outdoors to indoors, the reception was flicking with candles suspended in glass baubles from the ceiling. Could this wedding be anymore dreamier?

Wedding favours are one of those little details that can be easily overlooked when planning a wedding, but a little detail goes a long way with your guests. The concept of giving your guests a gift to take home as a momento of your wedding has survived for four centuries, so there must be something to it. In 16th Century England, it was common to be given a lace or ribbon knot to represent the couple’s bond of love. 
“I wanted something each guest would keep, so 5-6 months prior to the wedding I began growing over 100 succulents. I planted these in mini pots and tied thank you cards around it with gold and white twine. My sister created the thank you cards. The succulents doubled as place cards.”
