MONIKA & DAVID

"The Charis dress from Bridesmaids Only, in a navy colour. It was below the knee dress with a high neckline, I was going for a classy look that wasn’t too revealing for a traditional ceremony. They wore hot pink shoes to match with their flowers."

JANETTE & EDDIE

" We had a photo corner set up with lots of props for our guests to take photos at. Two copies were printed, one for us that allowed the guests to leave a message for Eddie & I and another for our guests with a Thank you message from Eddie & I."

PAIGE & JAKE

"Along with the candy buffet and the photo booth that allowed our guest to take and take home their photos we also had slippers made up that had our initials 'JP' embroider on them. They were a huge hit, not only with the women but the man LOVED them! And it was such a nice treat for when our feet got tender and kept the ladies dancing all night!"

MELISSA & MARK

"Our invitations were designed and printed by Laura at ‘By Invitation Only’ on Etsy. We chose a blush colour for the trifold envelope with ivory cardstock and back calligraphy font. For something a little bit different we included a quirky RSVP card of humorous multiple choice answers. We had trouble getting some guests to return them as they wanted to keep them to show their friends – so they photocopied them instead."

MICHELLE & LUKE

"We kept our decorations very simple as we wanted to highlight the heritage listed building we were in. We had plain white table clothes and chair covers on the eight guest tables. On each guest table there was a circular mirror with five tea lights and a circular bowl of flowers that were similar to the bridal party bouquets. The bridal table featured mirrors and tea lights and various sized vases and an assortment of flowers similar to those on the guest tables."

ASHLEY & NEAL

"I had a stunning bouquet full of white peonies, it was exactly what I had always wanted & was one of the easiest decisions when planning the wedding. We used a fabulous florist out of Newcastle 'Flowers by Lorey' - Lorey did such a wonderful job with all of our wedding flowers including the bouquets, buttonholes, table centrepieces & flower sprays for the bridal backdrop. She also supplied rose petal cones for our ceremony, along with delivering & installing the lot on location. "

LISA & CAMPBELL

"The Royal Motor Yacht Club is such a stunning venue that it really didn’t need too many decorations. In keeping to my theme of simple elegance, I opted for a one square vase, two small individual glass vases and four tea lights candles on each table. The vases were full of David Austin pale pink roses, white field roses, iceberg roses, white freesias and pieris which complemented our bouquets nicely."

LOUISE & MARK

"I wanted to do something different so we did a nice box of chocolates from Belle Fleur Fine Chocolates and also a “survival Kit” which included a mini can of coke, bandaids, panadol, mints and a Mc Donalds cheeseburger voucher. They were a HUGE hit!"

ALI & CARL

“All handmade by me, a lot of laser cut paper discs were sewn together to make beautiful garlands. The centerpieces featured an amazing mix of the same flowers from our bouquets. The fragrance in the room was amazing! Our table numbers were us at the respective ages. Cute feedback!”
